happy birthday, l

i first met l in august of 2010. she was just two months old at the time. she slept in a clothes basket, and napped in a plastic tub of blankets. she was so small, so petite, so fragile.

l was born via a ceasaren section in the middle of june. her mother lives with multiple scelrosis; having the baby put her into a wheelchair for 24+ months. i came into their lives to help l’s mother, with home healthcare.

l came into my heart, and hasn’t left.

i love you, baby girl. happy second birthday.
