eleven things i’ve learned from oz

1) if you walk far enough, you will sometime come to someplace

2) a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by otherswizard of oz

3) no one mourns the wicked

4) life is more painless for the brainless; life is fraught-less when you’re thoughtless

5) some people go both ways

6) people come into our lives for a reason

7) true courage is facing danger when you are afraid

8) we can’t all come and go by bubble

9) hearts will never be practical until they cannot be broken

10) pay no attention to the man behind the curtain

11) there is no place like home

there were a few that came to mind that just didn’t fit, such as something about defying gravity, or storm shelters exist for a reason. the things on the list have to actually be useful, or they don’t belong on the blog. with the wizard of oz, it actually wasn’t hard to build this list; it is full of terrific advice.

what has the land of oz brought you in terms of knowledge?

*this list is based off of the oz created by l. frank baum. it sources material from related books, films, and plays
